Contact us using one of the many forms, contact pages or phone numbers on this website. A dedicated forklift rental agent will contact you back to find out exactly what your requirements are for hiring a forklift and spec the best solution for your company.

We will send you a credit application to complete and send back to us.

Step 3

Prepare copies of your: – VAT registration – Company registration – ID’s of company directors/owner

Final Step

  • Send completed credit application and supporting documents back to us.
  • Once we have received all these documents our accounts department can then process your credit application. Please allow up to 3 working days for this to be approved.

Short Term Forklift Rental

1 Day to 1 Year

At Masslift Africa, we always strive to offer our clients service excellence and by trying to understand our customers’ operational needs we offer a range of forklift hire options to meet those needs on a short term basis.

We offer forklift rental agreements on a day to day basis or a month to month basis. The rates are very competitive, and include servicing and general maintenance.

Long Term Forklift Rental

12 to 60 Months

A long term rental is classified as a rental for a period longer than 12 months. There are two different options with a long term rental. One where the machine will return to Masslift at the end of the period, and one where ownership of the machine passes to the customer at the end of the term. At Masslift these are referred to as:

A Full Maintenance Rental Contract

This is broken into a finance portion and a maintenance portion. All maintenance of the forklift, at the correct service intervals, along with genuine parts, labour and call outs are included. At the end of the period, the ownership of the forklift will return to Masslift.

A Full Maintenance Rental Contract with Ownership

This works in exactly the same way as the first option, but, as the name suggests, ownership of the forklift passes to you, the customer at the end of the term.

What’s included in long term forklift rentals?

The rental or FMC rates quoted include all services, maintenance and repair arising from fair wear and tear under normal operation. This includes all lubricants, filters, parts, cleaning materials travelling and labour required for the repair and maintenance of the forklift.

What’s excluded in long term forklift rentals?

Excluded are batteries, tyres, forks, fuel used, insurance and all damage due to collision, impact, misuse, mal-operation and negligence.

Diesel 1.8 to 7.0 Ton

Renting a diesel forklift is a good option if you require a internal combustion forklift truck with maximum power. IC Forklift rentals are ideal for indoor and outdoor use. If you hire a diesel forklift from us you generally have the choice of either a 1.8 Ton, 2.5 Ton, 3.0 Ton, 5 Ton and 7 Ton. But contact us to check the latest stock in our hire fleet.

LPG-Petrol 1.8 to 3.0 Ton

The other internal combustion option you have for hiring forklifts are to opt for one of our LPG-Petrol units. LPG-Petrol forklifts offer the same indoor/outdoor versatility as diesel forklifts but with the added benefit of being able to run of either petrol or gas. They can be slightly more expensive to run and are available for renting from 1.8 Ton to 3.0 Ton models.

Electric 3 or 4 Wheel

Electric models are your best option when your forklift leasing or renting requirements are for environmentally friendly, fume-free, quiet and agile machines. If you require a forklift for indoor use then we recommend you hire one of our 3 or 4 wheel electric models.

Various Reach Trucks for Hire

Reach trucks are suited to application where you need to work with cargo at heights. Our reach trucks can lift cargo as high as thirteen metres. If you will be renting a forklift for indoor use where you will be lifting to heights then speak to us about our reach truck rental options.
